Videoconference with American Entrepreneur Terry Jones

On May 19, the Ural Chamber of Commerce, with the cooperation of the U.S. Consulate General, hosted a videoconference with American entrepreneur Terry Jones.  In his career, Mr. Jones was involved in the startup of ten different companies, including founding a three billion dollar company, Travelocity.com, and co-founding Kayak.com, which is now part of a fifty billion dollar travel conglomerate. Mr. Jones shared his entrepreneurial success stories with Ural businessmen.  During the question and answer period, he provided practical advice on startup development, and the promotion of a culture of innovation in business.   The participants at the videoconference welcomed this type of Russian – American business dialogue.  The meeting with Terry Jones was one of a series of U.S. Consulate educational programs aimed at the promotion of entrepreneurship.  The U.S. Consulate extends its thanks to the Ural Chamber of Commerce for its cooperation in hosting the program.
