U.S. Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun held a constructive meeting today with Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov. During the meeting, Special Representative Biegun and Deputy Foreign Minister Morgulov discussed respective bilateral engagements with North Korea and efforts to achieve the final, fully verified denuclearization of North Korea.
Special Representative Biegun and Deputy Foreign Minister Morgulov addressed a number of areas of shared understanding between the United States and Russia with respect to North Korea and committed to continue dialogue to bridge any gaps on the way forward.
