Nick Cappuccilli, a baseball coach from California, spent ten days in Primorskiy Kray conducting clinics for junior baseball teams and performing outreach events promoting the sport along with a healthy life style. Consulate General Vladivostok worked with the Baseball Federations of Primorskiy Kray and Vladivostok as well as municipal administrations and regional youth organizations to carry out this program. Nick inspired junior baseball teams in Vladivostok and Nakhodka and conducted a baseball showcase for over 300 enthusiastic boys and girls in the city of Artyom and youth summer camps in the Vladivostok suburbs. Nick repeatedly stressed he considered baseball one the best sports in the world as it brings people together and promotes personal success in school, work, and family life.
