If necessary, you may request a second passport. This passport will be valid for 4 years only and will be issued in addition to your current full-validity passport. You will be required to complete a second passport statement at the time of your interview.

If your current full-validity passport has less than 4 years remaining and you have endorsement pages free of any stamps or markings, you may choose to make this passport your second passport with a validity not exceeding two years. If you choose this option please bring your completed DS-11 or DS-82 to your appointment, you will be required to complete a DS-4085 form at the time of your appointment.
