September 22-28, the legendary jazz band the Headhunters toured the Urals.  They began their tour in Yekaterinburg and offered workshops to young students of music at the Kamerton Jazz Academy. They later participated in the first Inclusive Jazz Festival in Yekaterinburg at EverJazz that included collaboration with student bands. The proceeds of the festival will support organizations that advocate for individuals with disabilities. In Orenburg and Chelyabinsk, the Headhunters played to sold out houses and audiences danced and clapped to the jazz and funk rhythms that make the Headhunters so unique. Their tour through Russia will continue next in Rostov. More photos of the Headhunters can be found on our Facebook page.
