Selma Screening Draws a Crowd

On January 28, the Consulate, in partnership with Dom Pechati, screened Selma to the public for free.  Based on true events, the movie tells the story of Martin Luther King’s civil rights movement and its epic march from Selma, Alabama.  60 people attended the free screening and discussed the film afterwards with the PAO, Sarah Saperstein, in English.  This program was part of the Consulate’s celebration of Black History Month.
