Russia’s Entrepreneurship Day

On May 23, Consul General Marcus Micheli and Ural Chamber of Commerce President Andrey Besedin introduced Thomas Bruns, Deputy Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, and Dan Caffee, a leading entrepreneur from the state of Utah.  They both spoke at the Ural Chamber of Commerce and Industry at an event dedicated to Russia’s Entrepreneurship Day.  Mr. Bruns gave a presentation on the services offered by the Foreign Commercial Service to assist American businesses interested in Russia and Russian businesses interested in either buying American products or finding U.S. partners – http://2016.export.gov/russia/.  Mr. Caffee, who is visiting Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen through the Consulate’s Speaker Program, shared his experiences on launching successful startups. Both speakers answered questions in a lively discussion with the audience.
