The English Language Office is committed to building and strengthening professional development opportunities offered by national and regional teachers’ associations, such as NATE, SPELTA and FEELTA, and by pre-service and in-service training programs, such as those offered by pedagogical universities and retraining institutes. The ELO supports conferences, workshop series and consultations that address methodology, curriculum design, assessment and materials development needs. Professional exchanges, such as the English Language Fellow, English Language Specialist, and International Visitor programs, online courses and resources, and English language materials are among the ways in which the ELO works with the ELT community.
